Before Rice Lake started building the RoughDeck series, design engineers conducted a comprehensive floor scale testing program. They determined that two design factors—minimizing deck deflection and isolating load cells from extraneous forces—were key to low-profile scale accuracy and long life. As a result, the RoughDeck design concept provides outstanding strength and component protection. The RoughDeck series has low-profile stationary and portable versions available and offers component interchangeability and alternative construction materials tomeet specific industrial requirements, from basic shipping and receiving to highly corrosive or washdown environments.
